The West Yorkshire Calibration Laboratory is UKAS accredited for mass from 1mg to 1000kg at the following levels:

• OIML class F2 (stainless steel, plated brass) 1mg to 25kg
• OIML class M1 (brass, cast iron, aluminium) 1mg to 25kg
• Large weights (25kg to 1000kg) to a level of uncertainty of 30 parts per million

Local Authority Working Standard Weights and Testing Equipment can be calibrated.

 

The Laboratory is also certified to ISO 9001 and can provide a calibration service which is traceable to UK National Standards, and therefore suitable for quality assured systems, for the following types of equipment:

• Glass measures and flasks
• Metal capacity measures
• Tape measures and rules
• Weighing machines

Hire of weighing equipment: 20kg cast iron hand weights are available to hire.
